Slightly off topic - when you know your there

I received an email this morning that made me smile - apprently the ex Libyan leaders daughter needs me to hold $65, 000, 000 for her - email attached. I believe we have something in common as I also long to escape to a Carribean island - although perhaps for different reasons, either way I have replied hoping she will support our 100 club wherever she is in the world.

War with Warrickshire

Warwickshire obviously devastated after being outplayed earlier on in the season by Mid Glamorgan and Mid Glam after suffering their first defeat this season back in December.

Revenge of the Turkey - Mid Glam V Wilthsire

What an apt banner we had this match, a stuffing indeed although not as we had planned.

The score did not portray the closeness of the games but in the end its the all important 3 points that count, and this time Wiltshire took home the trophies. We promise to bring it back on our return match in March. Until then click the title above to see how the day panned out !

Forged Notes

Gwent Police are warning local businesses and the public to be on the look out for counterfeit £20 notes, which have been circulating in the Caerphilly County Borough Area recently.
In recent weeks, over 30 £20 notes have been handed in from the Caerphilly area, the notes are of a high quality, so it is essential that people check the money they are given, either by a customer or by a business. Officers are urging retailers and members of the public to take a close look at the bank notes they receive in any exchanges to protect themselves from becoming victim of the counterfeit cash in circulation.
