We have been fortunate enough to secure our first sponsor for the 2011 / 2012 Season - after Matthew Hughes (current Mid Glam County Player) has very kindly decided to let his company - Strength Pro - sponsor the county team. Matthew stated:

Strength Pro rackets may appear to be the same as any other racket you may pick up. However the greatest difference is weight. The Strength Pro badminton rackets are approximately 65-95 percent heavier than the regular racket.  The weight encourages and targets badminton specific muscles resulting in more strength and power.

 

Strength Pro`s unique training system has been developed through thorough analysis of varying strength training techniques used by some of the Worlds top professional badminton players.

 

The training rackets are available in two weights 140 grams plus the heavier 160 grams.Strength Pro  badminton training rackets have been designed to be used alongside a normal badminton racket.  Not to be used for sustained amount of time these rackets are a training aid which every serious badminton players should have as part of their racket bag.
